Meet DottDraws (Mary Patrick)

Mary Patrick is a former Visual Development student at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. She attended for 2 years before pivoting to attend courses in AI Engineering through Maestro College. She uses the knowledge she has gained in this endeavor to design and program visual novels. Her artistic areas of expertise revolve around cartoons and asset creation, but she has worn many hats in her freelance career.

Mary, signing many of her works as “Dott”, is known online for her work during her employment at Shavs Media Productions (AKA Genesis Animations). Though she has industry experience in a small, remote studio environment, this does not stop her from working to achieve her goals of working in much larger studios.

Mary has worked as a freelance artist-for-hire for several years. As she gains more and more work experience, Mary hopes to someday be able to make people around the world smile. Her unique character designs, entertaining story ideas and enchanting interpersonal skills are all her tools of choice to make her dream a reality!
